This is a great game that my kids and the neighbor kids all love! We've had it for almost a year and it's still going strong, despite being dropped several times on the hardwood floor. The batteries last a long time too! It's a little hard for my 4-year-old but 6 year-old is a pro and is still fun for the 9 year-old neighbors.

I bought this for my daughter for her seventh birthday. She is having fun playing it and learning. I would save up and buy the wii rock band one though.

Product is a lot of fun...very similar to "guitar hero". Coordination is needed for this game! If your child loves Hannah Montana songs, she will love "playing guitar" with them! Directions are on the screen, via guitar...limited written directions...especially when trying to move up to the next level..took some practice time on my own, to explain it to my child.

I bought this for my niece for Christmas. Although I was already going there, I had it shipped to her directly, so I wouldn't have to carry it.
Anyway, Christmas morning she opens it up, and I plug it in to the family TV set. Nothing but garbage on the screen - wavy lines, wierd characters, etc. I'm pretty techy, as are her Dad & Stepdad. The three of us screwed around with it for about 30 minutes before giving up.
Since it was only $30, rather than mess around with returns, I just ordered another one, and we threw the first one out. When the second one arrived, she and her friends seemed to enjoy it.
Bottom line, don't be surprised if it either arrives DOA or doesn't work for very long. It's very poorly made. But again, for $30, what do you expect?

This is a very cost effective way to get Guitar Hero without paying the cost of getting a system and the game. Granted, it doesn't have quite the graphics Guitar Hero has, but it plays like it somewhat. It was much better than I thought it would be. Its very nice for little girls who like Hannah Montana.
